Parents, We finalizing our plans for Math Academy. Now is your last chance to sign up for the weeks beginning July 21 and July 28. Please email lstroud@christcs.org no later than June 30 to set up diagnostic testing. The $50.00 diagnostic fee must be paid to set up testing. Two sessions are available: July 21-25 July 28-August 1 •Sessions will meet Monday through Friday from 8:30-10:30. Students will be expected to complete assignments prior to each academy session. •Weekly enrollment is limited to 6 students. Cost: Registrants pay a $50 testing deposit and $225/week for each session. Diagnostic testing: Based on their stated goals, students will take a diagnostic test through our Aleks program. Students can prepare for their next math course, shore up skills from previous courses or prepare for SAT math. Our Academy faculty with analyze test results and plan summer sessions, specifically targeting identified needs in order to strengthen students’ math skills for next year. Academy Faculty: Michelle Cetner has ten years of experience teaching high school math classes including AP calculus and has taught math education methods courses at ECU. She is pursuing her PhD in math education at N.C. State where she is employed under a grant for which she mentors beginning high school math teachers. CCS Building Project

CCS has gained a great reputation among discerning area families who desire a Christ-centered education that offers strong academics and extra-curricular programs, in a safe and nuturing environment.  We are excited about our plans to begin construction of a 3-phase building project for a new K-12 facility that can accomodate 650 students on our Worthington Road property.
