When we realize that our work is a calling from God, it becomes a labor of love

Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me you paths; guide me in your truth and teach me,for you are God my Saviour, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4,5
In all Christian schools, the aim of the guidance program is to support the intellectual development, emotional development, human and social development, and career development of each student, so that he or she can become a responsible and productive citizen of God’s kingdom.
In Christian schools, guidance also has a pastoral aspect which is much broader than educational or career planning. Its purpose is to help students find direction, not just the right career. Developing a sense of calling and the desire to serve the Lord in one’s life’s work are more valuable than teaching job-finding skills.
